My Grandma Holden was SO ahead of her time. I’m not sure exactly what it symbolizes when I wear the divorce ring she redesigned herself after she split from her second husband circa 1970-ish, but it looks awesome. Female empowerment?
It was originally a traditional engagement ring with all twelve of the diamonds in two rows of six, but after the divorce she had it altered to the discombobulated mesh of sparkles it is today. Telling.
